Ronda Rousey's feud with Nia Jax makes no sense after HUGE gaffe on RAW


Jax trolled Rousey before her match with a local competitor and mocked her armbar finisher. The RAW Women’s Champion insists that her signature move won’t work on her and tried to prove it when she allowed her opponent to apply the hold. The Irresistible Force then picked up the jobber over her shoulder with ease and slammed her on the mat. However, Jax tapped out toAsuka’s armbar two months ago on RAW, therefore the storyline makes no sense and the move actually works on the former NXT star.

According to Ringside News , the publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Dave Meltzer noticed that oversight and claims WWE are probably trying to get fans to forget that submission defeat. Meltzer said: “I mean the whole thing of the armbar doesn’t work, it’s like she tapped to the armbar against Asuka. “So how does the armbar not work? I guess they’re trying to get people to forget it ever happened and I’m sure a lot of people did. “But to me, it was just a storyline thing that again, if you knew what you were doing long term you would have never done that I suppose.”
Jax shockingly challenged Rousey at the NBCUniversal upfronts in New York City’s Radio City Music Hall. The Baddest Woman on the Planet was stunned to hear the news but immediately accepted after being vehemently encouraged to do so by ex-Smackdown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. Their title match will take place at Money in the Bank on June 17 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
